Primary incursions
Our centre offers learning programs for all primary school years, from Early Stage 1 to Stage 3. All programs are linked to the NSW curriculum and delivered by qualified and experienced teachers.
Our incursions bring environmental learning to your school. We offer hands-on, curriculum-linked programs that inspire curiosity and connect students with the natural world.
Each session is led by our experienced environmental educators and can be tailored to different stages and topics. Students learn through fun, interactive activities that support science, geography and sustainability outcomes.
What we offer
Each primary learning program includes:
- activities that link to science, geography and history
- learning about caring for Country, sustainability and Aboriginal cultures
- tasks that help students think, ask questions and work together
- optional classroom activities before and after the visit
- teachers who are trained and understand the primary school curriculum
- the option to change activities to suit your students’ needs.
Wooglemai offers incursions such as sustainability programs, environmental audits, kitchen and native garden lessons. Many other Wooglemai programs can be modified to become an incursion.
